I AM PISSED!
sorry for the harshness of that phrase, but I would like to blog about a story... A story of a teenage girl, her mother and a painter.
A man, a mere stranger to this small family's household entered one day with a smirk plastered on his face, beginning to paint the walls of the house. Every afternoon as the teenager stepped through the door, this young father would be smiling down at her. It was then, however, that things were twisted up. The girl's mother's toothbrush was stolen, later to be found on the kitchen counter in a total wreck. Someone had used it to scrub something...
That's not the most horrible part. The teenage girl had been working EVER so hard on some face sets for the characters for a game she was making. A Chinese boy was next on her list to draw, and she spent an hour, perfecting it while drawing freehand in a car. A bandage swiped his nose, and his hair fell to his upper neck. She was proud of the drawing and was eager to scan it to the computer. Since the drawing had been drawn in the car, she placed the stack of papers with the drawing right side up at the top. Placed on the piano, was also her old scrap book containing the very first drawing of a human she ever did.
It was the day of departure for the painter. He left early morning and there lay a note telling the family when he was to pick up the cheque. The girl smiled, after heading to pick up the stack of papers from the piano to notice her drawing was missing. She flipped through the pages of the scrap book, and checked each blank page back and front. 20 pages later, she panicked as she hesitantly took a step towards the note. She placed her hand on the marked up page and slowly flipped it over, only to see her masterpiece on the back. The marker bled through the sheet as she collapsed through the ground, tearing out her work and ripping the message to shreds.
It was no mistake... The drawing was in plain sight. Right side up. Out in the open. Nothing covering.
Why would someone flip a blank sheet of paper around?
I am heartbroken to say that Leo's child faceset has been ruined. I may be able to ressurect him... but keep in mind when his normal picture appears in the game... that a painter ruined him before he was given life...
I'm a total dork who writes too much all the time because I like typing and I used to write novel-length stories and I'm just a weird person who does some things and breathes and stuff.
