♥ Engagements and Weddings ♥
Love is in the air once again as the adult years blossom with the spring; A romantic prelude to the new world beyond one that was once known. Eleven mature young men line up at your plea, awaiting a decision both difficult and important in your life. Shimmering eyes greens, blues and browns meet yours as you soon realize that these 'boys' you grew up with, have finally turned to men.
♥ How to get married ♥
The stages of marriage begin early on in the game, starting from your pre-teen years.
The very first thing that needs to be done is to gain the affection of the guy you are romancing. This is determined randomly throughout the pre-teen and teen years. His dialogue will change, and he will become more nervous around you. Once his dialogue changes, it means he has gained a crush on you.
This crush is required for them to become your boyfriend (Or your husband in adult years.)
In your teenage chapter, you will be given the option to declare your eternal friendship with your crush. Once you have done so, no other girl can take him away.
You have until the end of the teenage chapter to give them the item and see their events. If you do not declare your friendship to anyone, you will not be able to see any of the romance events OR any of the rival events. When you transition to the adult year, you will find all of the rival love interests are together. You may then only marry those without a love interest.
You can get married once your boy has reached a specific relationship level. Who will pop the question? Will it be you, or will it be him?

♥ Crushes ♥
When a guy becomes better friends with you, the chances increase for him to gain romantic feelings for you. Once a boy has a crush on you, his love points will start to increase making him romancable.
Be wary though, they can start to crush on you once you're best friends, or even just strangers. If you get too many characters to like you, you will end up in some sticky situations.

♥ Love points ♥
LP and FP are two very different things in the Game play. Both have different influences on the NPCs and your character.
FP: Stands for Friend points. You earn these in every character when you interact with the non-playable characters and basically anything you do. They're easily earned, but then again they are lost easily too. Once you reach a certain level, your relationship status with that person changes:
0-999: Stranger
1000-1999: Acquaintance
2000-3999: New friend
4000-6999: Friend
7000- 9999: Close friend
11000-14999: Best friend
15000-16999: Inseparable duo
17000+: Kindred spirits
LP: Stands for love points. Like friendship points, are earned but not so simply. They are earned through the choices you make, your personality and of course the interactions such as gifts. They are even more difficult to get, You can start to earn them in year one, but they don't have an effect until year two and fully into effect until year three. They are only for the boys that you can marry.
1-999: Neutral
999-1499: Opening up
1500-1999: Small crush
2000-2499: Crush
2500-2999: Large crush
3000-3999: infatuation
4000-5999: Love interest
6000-6999: Love
7000+: True love
These numbers have varied, therefore are just simple guidelines until the actual values are figured out.

♥ Events ♥
Events are one of the engines that run CD. There are many events, some required, some not when it comes to marriage.
Five Friendship Events: These are NOT mandatory for marrying your boy. They are only for those in the child year, and they can be viewed over the span of the child an pre-teen chapter. Characters such as Aris only have ONE friendship event, since he moves in during the pre-teen chapter. This applies for rival romances as well.
Five Romance Events: These are not required, but important for marrying. They are five events that all eleven boys have, and show a story of romance towards you. They are required to see to become their girlfriend (Which effects different things like proposal, dialogue, etc. You won't get the full experience unless they're your boyfriend.)
A Special Child Event: Once again, not important. It is meant as a joke or a prank on you and your guy friend. It's not revealed as to what this is... but you'll find out soon enough~!
A Proposal Event: An event that is MANDATORY to trigger. You can trigger it by going on a 'quest' to get a ring and giving it to your true love, or trigger the event where HE proposes to YOU. You cannot reject the proposal directly, you must reject it before it happens. This is just because Roxie doesn't want to make the boys cry :(
Umm you can still propose to the guys if you wish afterwards.
A Marriage Event: An event that is obviously needed to be triggered to get married. It occurs on a certain day of the month if you are engaged... you and your fiance will have your wedding in a location of his choosing. The scene fades out at one point for you two to stand on your own, in your own little world. He has finished exchanging his vows, and now he talks to you as if you are the only two that exist.
An After Marriage Event: An event that takes place right after the wedding. It depicts a scene with the mother speaking with your husband. She wants information on him, and wants to know what you will do from that moment on. Finally, she announces your honeymoon!
Honeymoon Events: You and your new husband arrive at the location of your honeymoon. How sweet! But is that a bitter sweetness lingering in the air?
Asking for a child: There are two of these events, and two versions of the second event.
You will be asked if you are ready to have kids. if you refuse, you will trigger version 2 of the second event later in the year. See the "Asking for a child 2" for details.
Pregnancy: You will have a pregnancy event with your husband. You will find out you are pregnant. You must say yes to the event above if you wish to trigger this event. If not, there will be a SMALL chance of you triggering it anyway.
Asking for a child 2: If you did not think you were ready for a child before, there is a version 2 of this event. Version one is if you are already pregnant, and your husband will ask if you would ever consider a second child. If not, he will ask if you are THEN ready for a child. You will get the younger style of son/daughter through this event. You won't see the pregnancy event, since the pregnancy/birth takes place in a game Dark period (no game play)
Town Events: Lover's day, Scary night, New Years, Celestial Dance, your birthdays, Anniversaries are all events that are celebrated by you and your family. These events change depending on if you have kids and if you're married or not.
Child events: There are two events with your children and husband in your two given years of the adult chapter.
